Dear Friend of the Conservatory,
This year’s CDA Messiah Sing marks the Conservatory’s most formal partnership with the faith community to date, bringing us together with Trinity Lutheran Church around our shared belief in music’s power to bring people together.
This partnership is the beginning of a reciprocal relationship in which we learn from one another and serve our community.
Music creates opportunities to learn, connect, and bring comfort to others. This fall and winter, Conservatory students and musicians will share that music at community performances, a hospital recital, and the CDA Messiah Sing.
We invite you to be part of making these opportunities possible.

Help Make the CDA Messiah Sing Possible
The CDA Messiah Sing takes place December 9th and 10th at 7 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. This welcoming performance of Handel’s Messiah includes selected choruses for audience participation, so ticket holders can join in and sing. The event also supports Trinity Lutheran’s Food Ministry, which supports Community Action Partners and the Post Falls Food Bank.
Our $15,000 sponsorship goal equals 75 contributions of $200.
Ticket proceeds, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions will cover the orchestra, soloists, and other direct production costs, helping the event remain revenue neutral. Funds above production costs will benefit Conservatory programs.

Upcoming Events
Matt Goodrich and Melody Puller: 250 Express
Join us October 30 for a family-friendly recital celebrating 250 years of American music, with many familiar songs.
Melody Puller and Matt Goodrich travel across the land to explore the America that only a piano can conjure.
Familiar names and rediscovered composers share the bill, curated so each piece changes the light on the next, with stories about the music told straight from the stage.
Other Ways Music Connects Us
Halloween & Pumpkin Voting!
Our students are bringing carved pumpkins to the Conservatory beginning Wednesday, October 28. Visitors can vote for their favorite, and the winning pumpkin will receive a prize.
We’ll be on the Conservatory porch for Halloween! Come trick or treat with us!
Individually wrapped candy donations are welcome ahead of Halloween.
Student Christmas Recital at Kootenai Medical Center
Students will share music in the north foyer of Kootenai Medical Center, bringing live music to hospital employees, patients, and visitors.
